A rapist not only violates the victims privacy and personal integrity, but inevitably causes serious psychological as well as physical harm in the process. Rape is not merely a physical assault it is often destructive of the whole personality of the victim.

From Cradle to Grave : A tale of discrimination.
From cradle to grave women have to face a systematic discrimination in our society. Not only this, the continuous increase in the Crimes against Women has become a matter of concern. Stories of crimes against women have become a regular feature of the National Dailies.
Violent crimes against women are both a continuation of the systematic discrimination against women and its results. The violator feels his acts are socially sanctioned; the evidence is manifest in all that he has witnessed since childhood.
WAH Foundation strongly feels that the women must be kept in their place; else some great calamity may befall society.

Re-defining Empowerment
The theme - "Re-defining Empowerment" was a hit among the youth and women visiting the EXPO during the CSR LIVE WEEK 2011. WAH exhibited its concept of differently empowering the youth and the women of the society.
